Finally

Finally made it to the comic store.  Picked up the new Scarlet Spider and Fantastic Four, and a couple of new DC comics.  I also got the new story arc to Journey Into Mystery.  I hadn't had an opportunity to check it out, but there's been a lot of buzz about it, so I'm excited to read it.

Also, I got invited to go to Annapolis Comic-Con next weekend.  I'm hoping I can make it, as there's some good stuff going on there.

Today

Today I unfortunately didn't get a chance to go to the comic book store.  I've just had too much to do today with it being St. Patty's Day.  I may try and go tomorrow after band practice though.  I definitely wanna pick up certain releases from this week, so I hope I can make it.

I'm also very excited for Avengers Vs. X-Men to begin.  The prologue comes out in less than 2 weeks, and issue #1 is out in like 3.  It's gonna be epic.

Hoping

I'm hoping to make a trip to the comic book store tomorrow afternoon.  I haven't had a chance to go and pick up any of the new releases for this week yet, and hope to be able to grab them.  I just finished catching up on a couple of DC series (Green Lantern, Red Lanterns, and Justice League International) I've been trying to get into thanks to the comics app on android.

If anyone has a smart phone, it's a great app to have.  It has many new releases the day they're released and a whole bunch of back issues as well.  They also have a website where you can download and read the comics as well.  Check 'em out here at http://www.comixology.com/

Just Got

I just received Amazing Spider-Man #680 and #681 in the mail today.  I was supposed to get #680 last week but it was temporarily misplaced by the postal service.  Oh well, at least I have something to enjoy on this wonderful Friday

Publisher Links

Here are links to the home sites of all of my favorite comic book publishers.

Marvel - http://marvel.com/

Marvel has great comics such as the Avengers, Spider-Man, Iron-Man, Captain America, and the Hulk.

DC - http://www.dccomics.com/

DC is the home of Batman and the Green Lantern.

Image - http://www.imagecomics.com/

Image has The Walking Dead, which has become a recent phenomenon, and others, like Hack/Slash and Haunt.

IDW - http://www.idwpublishing.com/

I really only follow Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from IDW, but they have titles such as Transformers, G.I. Joe, and True Blood that are very popular.

Hello

Hi, my name is Christopher Booth.  On this blog, I am going to post information on my personal adventure of collecting comics.  My favorite publisher is Marvel, but I also enjoy DC, Image, and some IDW comics.
